Malattie Tropicali in Indonesia: summer school Agosto

Yogyakarta, 2nd  – 13th  August 2015
Greetings to all medical students! If you have been living in this country for years, I’m pretty sure you often heard about diseases like malaria, dengue,  filariasis, and a group of diseases also known as Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). By definition, Neglected Tropical Diseases are a group of tropical infections which are especially endemic in low-income populations in developing regions of Africa, Asia, and the Americas, including Indonesia. More than 1 billion people worldwide suffer from one or more NTDs. Eventhough they cause a significant rise in morbidity and mortality rate, NTDs still receive limited attention, particularly from other regions of the world (or NEGLECTED, just like they are named).
In GAMAMORSE, not only you will gain new perspective and knowledge about Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), but it is also presented in an enjoyable and interesting way, such as
1. Interactive lecture with the experts
2. Practical session (which will be unforgettable)
3. Tutorial session
4. Social and environmental observation, directly on the community
5. Community Outreach and Counselling
Worried about your summer vacation? Well, don’t be! Beside all those lectures and medical-ish stuffs,  you can also refresh your mind because we provide you with social programs to various tourism places in Yogyakarta. Let’s say Prambanan and Borobudur temples, Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, Goa Pindul, even Village Homestay away from your usual city life!
Yes, GAMAMORSE can guarantee you a bunch of knowledge, experience, and new friends from other countries that will perfectly make your summer vacation unforgettable
